Congratulations Steve! Bon Voyage!

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to announce that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has recruited a member of our founding team for a special agent position! Beginning in 2009, the Bureau’s Boston recruiting team started investigating our Steven Shapiro’s credentials, character, and physical fitness in anticipation for this offer.  After a year of testing, the FBI adjudicated Steven, who will ship to Quantico, VA this autumn for five months of extensive training at one of the world’s best law enforcement training facilities.

Perhaps it was the Silence of the Lambs or maybe the third season of The X-Files, but the Bureau has always intrigued Steven.  Steven will most likely be investigating white-collar crime, specifically, intellectual property counterfeit activities and cybercrime.

“This is a once and a life time opportunity and that is the only kind of opportunity that could take me away from what I have helped build here at New Leaf and all of the dear friends I have made over the years in Boston’s entrepreneur community.”  -Steven.

We wish Steven the best of luck in this new stage of his professional career and look forward to keeping his style and charisma alive in New Leaf’s continued activities long into the future.

Congratulations!
