What information does NLL collect?
NLL may collect information about you, when you interact with the Site, including, your name, email, and/or personal or business information you choose to submit to the Site, and other data as specifically described herein.
You may provide us with this personal information when you:

- Request customer support or send NLL any other communication; and/or

Information collected by Cookies:
NLL uses cookies on the Site to improve the quality of the Site and services to you. One of the features of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. Your California Privacy Rights:

NLL does not sell your personal information, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Information collected by Web Beacons and Log Files:
When you visit the Site, NLL’s servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your:

- how many times your device (computer or phone, for instance) access the Site, including dates and times of such access

Information collected through Reviews and Testimonials:
You may choose to submit a review or testimonial. If you post a review, NLL may ask for certain information to validate your review or testimonial such as your first name and an optional photo. NLL will not use any testimonial or review that is not accompanied by a photo. If you submit a review or testimonial, NLL may publish your first name, geographic location or other anonymous information but your last name and email address will be kept private. Additionally, any personally identifiable information that you submit as part of the review or testimonial can be read or used by other visitors to the Site. NLL is not responsible for any personally identifiable information that you choose to submit as part of your review or testimonial.
How does NLL secure and store your information?
The security of your personal information is important to us. NLL employs industry standard precautions designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. NLL currently stores user information via secure cloud-based web hosting services, provided by bluehost, and the information is stored on servers located within the United States.
Remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. NLL cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private. NLL cannot guarantee complete security.
How does NLL use your information?
NLL will not sell or disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as may be specified in this policy from time to time. NLL uses the personally identifiable information you provide to:
- Provide the features and functionality of the Site and to improve NLL’s products and services;
- Fulfill your requests for NLL’s products and services;

New Leaf Legal., and other NLL graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts, and service names are copyrights, trademarks or trade dress of NLL in the U.S. and/or other countries. NLL’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used, including as part of trademarks and/or as part of domain names or email addresses, in connection with any product or service in any manner that is likely to cause confusion to consumers or in any manner that disparages or discredits NLL. All other trademarks not owned by NLL that appear on this Site are the property of their respective owners.
You acknowledge that all articles, blog posts, infographics, writings, columns, and any other form of content on the Site (“NLL Content”) is either owned by NLL or NLL has a license/permission to use the same. You acknowledge and agree that any such NLL Content, including but not limited to text, data, photos, graphics, etc. or other material contained or distributed on or through the Site, by NLL, its advertisers or other third parties, is protected by trademarks, service marks, patents, copyrights, or other proprietary rights and laws. Because NLL may allow content to be posted from third parties and third-party Sites, there is a chance that the ability to remove any allegedly infringing content will be out of our control. Business Transfers.

NLL’s Policy Towards Children
The Site is not directed to persons under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided NLL with personally identifiable information without their consent, he or she should contact NLL info@newleaflegal.com. NLL will take actions to promptly remove such data. NLL does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If NLL becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal identifiable Information, NLL will delete such information.
How can I change, delete, or update my information?
You can request that NLL update or change your information or request that we delete your information by emailing us at info@newleaflegal.com. After receiving proof of your identity, NLL will comply with such request. Resolution of Disputes and Release:
In the event a dispute arises between you and NLL, please contact NLL. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of this Privacy Policy shall be finally settled by arbitration in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, using the English language in accordance with the Arbitration Rules and Procedures of American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) then in effect, by one commercial arbitrator with substantial experience in resolving intellectual property and commercial contract disputes, who shall be selected in accordance with the Arbitration Rules and Procedures of AAA. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding. The prevailing party in any arbitration or other proceeding arising under this Privacy Policy shall be entitled to receive reimbursement of its reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, expert witness fees and all other expenses) incurred in connection therewith. Judgment upon the award so rendered may be entered in a court having jurisdiction or application may be made to such court for judicial acceptance of any award and an order of enforcement, as the case may be. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each party shall have the right to institute an action in a court of proper jurisdiction for injunctive or other equitable relief pending a final decision by the arbitrator. For all purposes of this Privacy Policy, the party’s consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the United States Federal Courts or state courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Use of the Site is not authorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of the Privacy Policy, including without limitation, this section. You and NLL agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Site (including, but not limited to, any services provided or made available therein) or this Privacy Policy must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
You hereby consent to and waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens with respect to venue and jurisdiction in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts. You further agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim is initiated in court rather than in arbitration you and NLL waive any right to a jury trial.
You release NLL (and NLL’s officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with disputes with one or more users, or an outside party.
Unless stated otherwise, NLL’s current Privacy Policy applies to all information that NLL has about you.
The current version of the NLL Privacy Policy was adopted effective as of April 2, 2020.
